Distribution:
India (Tripura, Jalpaiguri, East Bengal, and Singhbhum in Jharkhand), Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma (or Myanmar), Laos, Thailand (incl. Phuket), Cambodia, Vietnam, Western Malaysia, Southern China
Habitat:
This turtle likes moist places, often found soaking in shallow rivers or in moist soil.
